Cashier
- Location: Lagos (resides at Berger, Ogba, Omole)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: 45K-60K
Skills and Qualifications:
- OND qualification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
As a Cashier at our leading supermarket, your day-to-day tasks will involve more than just assisting customers at the till. You will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our valued customers. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Customer Assistance:
- Assist customers at the till and provide excellent service.
- Help out in other areas of the store when required.
- Transaction Management:
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and ensure accurate pricing.
- Payment Handling:
- Collect correct payments, whether in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Promotions and Loyalty Programs:
- Redeem stamps and coupons.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new offerings.
- Customer Relations:
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
- Greet customers warmly when entering or leaving the store.
- Checkout Area Maintenance:
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
