Elementary/Primary Teacher:
- Location: Ibadan, Oyo
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Experience: minimum of 2 years of work experience in elementary/primary education.
- Qualifications: BEd, NCE, PGCE, PGDE
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that stimulates intellectual curiosity.
- Subject Mastery:
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude in Mathematics, delivering lessons that make the subject accessible and enjoyable for students.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of English language concepts, promoting literacy skills.
- Student Assessment:
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a well-organized and conducive learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a focused and disciplined atmosphere.
- Individualized Learning:
- Cater to the diverse learning needs of students, employing differentiated teaching methods.
- Provide additional support or challenges based on individual student requirements.
- Parental Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s academic development.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and respond to parental inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and enhance teaching methodologies.
- Extracurricular Activities:
- Actively participate in and support extracurricular activities that contribute to the holistic development of students.
- Encourage students to explore their interests beyond the standard curriculum.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s educational programs.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing overall academic excellence.
