Position Overview:
We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Network Specialist with expertise in SD-WAN (Meraki), Wireless Technologies, SolarWinds, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). As a Network Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Your in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge networking technologies will contribute to the seamless operation of our organization’s network.
Responsibilities:
– Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions using Meraki devices to optimize the performance and reliability of our wide area network (WAN).
– Configure and manage wireless technologies, including access points, controllers, and wireless security protocols, to provide robust and secure wireless connectivity for our users.
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and other network monitoring tools.
– Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and design appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
– Perform network capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure.
– Conduct regular security audits and implement network security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 2 – 4 years of work experience.
– Proven experience as a Network Specialist with a focus on SD-WAN, Wireless Technologies, SolarWinds, and Cisco ISE.
– Strong knowledge of Meraki SD-WAN solutions, including configuration, deployment, and management.
– Extensive experience in configuring and managing wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi access points, controllers, and security protocols.
– Proficiency in using SolarWinds NPM and other network monitoring tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
– Solid understanding of network access control and security policies, with hands-on experience in Cisco ISE implementation.
– Familiarity with routing protocols, switching technologies, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
– Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Meraki certifications, or SolarWinds certifications, will be a plus.
