Editor:
- Location: Ibadan, Oyo

- Qualifications: HND/BSc qualifications in Mass Communication, English Language, or any related discipline,
- Experience: minimum of three years of experience in a similar editorial role. Exceptionally good written and communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Content Editing:
- Edit, proofread, and enhance written content for clarity, coherence, and adherence to editorial standards.
- Ensure that content aligns with the organization’s style guide and maintains a consistent tone.
- Grammar and Syntax Checks:
- Conduct thorough grammar and syntax checks to eliminate errors and improve the overall quality of written materials.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers for continuous improvement.
- Style Guide Adherence:
- Enforce adherence to the organization’s style guide, ensuring consistency in writing across various platforms.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend updates to the style guide as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to guarantee error-free and polished content before publication.
- Collaborate with writers and content creators to elevate the overall quality of output.
- Deadline Management:
- Manage editorial schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Coordinate with writers and contributors to meet publication timelines.
- Collaboration with Writers:
- Collaborate with writers to understand the target audience and tailor content accordingly.
- Provide guidance on crafting engaging and compelling narratives.
- Research and Fact-Checking:
- Conduct research and fact-checking to verify the accuracy of information presented in written materials.
- Ensure that content is reliable, credible, and aligns with industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of evolving language trends and editorial techniques.
- Share insights and best practices with the editorial team for continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration:

- Provide mentorship and support to junior editors when necessary.
