We’re seeking a talented Senior IT Network & Server Engineer to join our Company. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our entire IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain robust network architectures, including LANs, WANs, and cloud-based solutions.
Configure, manage and optimize server performance for critical applications and data storage.
Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and identify and resolve root causes.
Perform regular system maintenance and updates, ensuring optimal system uptime and security.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in network security, server administration, and modern office systems.
Provide Level 2/3 support to internal users, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring their productivity.
Document network configurations, procedures, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with business needs.
Advise on the selection and implementation of modern office systems and ensure their efficient and secure use within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior IT network and server administration role.
Proven experience with network design, configuration, and troubleshooting (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
In-depth knowledge of server administration platforms (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection).
Experience with modern office systems and their secure implementation (e.g., cloud storage, and collaboration tools).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
