Job Summary

The insurance sector in Nigeria is booming and is expected to grow exponentially. AIICO Plc. is the leading player in this industry, with the largest and most profitable agency network in Nigeria. Currently, AIICO Plc. is looking for experienced and capable individuals to work as sales executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and create status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Requirements:

  • Academic qualification of OND/HND/BSc degree in any discipline
  • Skills and competencies required: Money motivation, Work discipline, Financial acumen, entrepreneurial bent of mind, communication skills, etc.
  • Personal profile: mature, honest, and willing to learn.
  • Proven work experience in a company of repute or experience running your own business is preferable.
