Job Summary
- Marketing and Corporate Communications Lead will be responsible for driving brand alignment, engagement, and innovation.
- This role oversees both overall marketing strategies and product-specific initiatives.
- By crafting and maintaining a cohesive brand identity, integrating it across all communications, both internal and external, and ensuring seamless alignment with the bank’s values, the role contributes to heightened brand awareness, customer engagement, successful product launches, and strong employee alignment.
- The Lead also plays a pivotal role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, advocating the bank’s brand within the industry, and maintaining consistent internal communications.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with the bank’s overall goals
- and objectives.
- Drive brand awareness and loyalty through creative campaigns, consistent messaging, and innovative approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals and deliver measurable results.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the product marketing team’s efforts, ensuring effective positioning, promotion, and communication of banking products and services.
Brand Management:Craft and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with target audiences and reflects the bank’s values and mission.Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to adapt and refine branding strategies as needed.
Communications Strategy:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive communications plan, encompassing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
Digital Marketing and Innovation:
- Drive the bank’s digital marketing initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies and platforms to enhance customer engagement and acquisition.
- Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to implement innovative marketing technologies and tools.
Product Marketing:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic product marketing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to launch new products and services successfully, ensuring effective positioning, messaging, and promotion.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
- Regularly analyze campaign results and market trends, providing insights to the leadership team and recommending adjustments as necessary
Qualifications
- First degree in a related field
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in journalism, political science, communications, marketing or a related field)Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive brand growth and customer engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, social media, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for various audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
