Key Responsibilities
Identify prospective clients or markets for the hotel’s offerings through research, networking, or other tactics.
Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market share.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion or enhancements in the hotel’s offerings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in formulating strategic blueprints for the hotel, encompassing goal setting and action plans to foster business growth.
Meet sales and revenue targets set by the management.
Compile monthly reports on business development endeavors, encompassing sales data, potential market enlargement, and advancement toward business objectives.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of business development strategies with the overarching organizational goals.
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
An MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience & Attributes
Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development roles.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to organize and complete multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse team of people and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities.
