Job Summary
We are looking for a certified Industrial Nurse to provide basic healthcare services to our company’s employees. The Industrial nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury. They will also be responsible for clinic staff management (Attendance, Dress Code, Performance, and Code of Conduct)
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with the clinical nursing guidelines.
- Identify primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and health promotion strategies to optimize the health of the organization.
- Contribute to the design of controls for injury prevention and health surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the work environment.
- Initiate and evaluate patients for transfusion and other intravenous medications.
- Develop and implement health and safety programs.
- Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
- Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
- Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
- Document all employee injuries and illnesses and keep this information confidential.
- Management clinic staff performance, attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Any other assignment delegated by the HOO/HSE Manager
Academic Qualifications
- Registered Nurse certificate with a valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- At least 4 years of work experience as an industrial Nurse.
Note: For proximity to work, Applicants should reside in Ogun state or the outskirts of Lagos.
