Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Review, prepare, and ensure timely payments by verifying documentation, requesting disbursements and determining relevant applicable taxes
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Prepare reports on financial health and liquidity by collecting, analyzing, and
- summarising account information and trends
- Recommend financial actions and strategies by analyzing accounting options/information
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and security, and conduct database backups
- Comply with financial policies, internal controls, and regulations
- Guides junior Finance Team Members, coordinating activities and answering questions
- Fulfill day-to-day finance and administrative duties of the Department
- Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working as a qualified Accountant
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable educational institution (in Accounting, Finance or
- Business discipline is preferred)
- Experience in FinTech
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge and advanced working experience in Excel
- Knowledge and working experience of QuickBooks or any relevant Accounting Software.
- Able to work effectively and productively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor, measure, and report
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Confident with a strong sense of judgment
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a Team
