Job Description
Responsible:
- Providing dental care and services at SS Dental Clinic
- Carryout clerking, and thorough examination of the oral and maxillofacial region with the required investigations
- Diagnose and carry out appropriate treatment when due
- Consider treatment methods and explain the options with the patient to determine which works best for them based on their situation
- Educate and Provide advice and instruction on taking care of teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the head of Cliniccal Operations
- Make models and measurements for dental appliances, such as dentures to fit patients
- Responsible for ensuring that all dental surgeries are cleaned and their equipment are working effectively
- Ensure the organization of the surgery and also the verification of confirmed patients for each day from the front desk
- Ensure that the dental chair is working properly
- Keep all equipment functional and clean
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- 2 – 4 years of Work Experience (Post NYSC)
- An MBA is an added advantage
- Licensed and qualified to work as a Dentist in Nigeria
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry
- Knowledge of advanced dental treatments is an added advantage
