Responsibilities: 

  1. Curriculum Implementation:
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum, emphasizing Mathematics and English proficiency.
    • Employ diverse teaching methods to impart knowledge effectively, making learning engaging and interactive.
  2. Class Management and Control:
    • Demonstrate strong leadership in class management, creating a positive and conducive learning environment.
    • Effectively manage and control the class dynamics, ensuring a harmonious and focused atmosphere for learning.
  3. Subject Expertise:
    • Showcase a robust understanding and passion for teaching Mathematics and English.
    • Employ real-life applications to teach Mathematics, making the subject relatable and interesting for students.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
    • Communicate effectively with children, fostering positive relationships and promoting a supportive learning environment.
  5. Teaching Methodology:
    • Demonstrate versatility in class management, control, and the ability to transfer knowledge in child-friendly and experiential ways.
    • Utilize diverse teaching techniques to cater to varied learning styles and abilities.
  6. Personal Attributes:
    • Display patience, expressiveness, resourcefulness, responsibility, adaptability, and a sense of humor.
    • Exhibit a noticeable passion for working with children, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  7. Communication Skills and Computer Literacy:
    • Demonstrate an excellent command of both spoken and written English language.
    • Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Office and exhibit computer literacy.
  8. Residency:
    • Reside in Ibadan to meet the local requirement.
  9. Flexibility:
    • Adopt a flexible approach to work, actively participating in various school-related activities such as cooking, art, and science projects.
