Key Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective clients or markets for the hotel’s offerings through research, networking, or other tactics.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion or enhancements in the hotel’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in formulating strategic blueprints for the hotel, encompassing goal setting and action plans to foster business growth.
  • Meet sales and revenue targets set by the management.
  • Compile monthly reports on business development endeavors, encompassing sales data, potential market enlargement, and advancement toward business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of business development strategies with the overarching organizational goals.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • An MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience & Attributes

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development roles.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse team of people and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities.
  • Multi-tasking and excellent prioritization.
  • Ability to think and plan strategically.
  • Excellent relationship management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successful business development initiatives and revenue scaling.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
