Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements, to track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining general ledgers to ensure financial transactions are properly documented and classified.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide insights into the financial health and performance of the organization.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by analyzing historical financial data, identifying trends, and projecting future revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and filing accurate tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax returns, and staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis of financial transactions and records to ensure compliance with audit requirements and procedures.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and improved financial performance. Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making by management.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
Payroll Processing: Process payroll transactions, calculate employee wages and salaries, deduct taxes and benefits, and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
Financial Planning: Assist in financial planning activities, such as capital budgeting, investment analysis, and financial modeling, to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts, and oversee cash disbursements and receipts to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize cash management.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting Standards) to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree / HND qualification with 4–6 years of work experience.
