Are you a passionate and driven National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member looking to kickstart your career in accounting? Do you have a strong desire to learn, grow, and make a real impact? If so, we want you to join our team as an Account Intern.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks and activities under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Learn and utilize accounting software and tools to record and process financial transactions.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Current NYSC member with a keen interest in pursuing a career in accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
