IT Officer Position:
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Lagos
- Renumeration: N200,000 to N300,000 per month (Net) along with additional benefits.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, with a preference for candidates who have worked in an academic or educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- IT Support: Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Regularly conduct system updates, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to safeguard the university’s network and sensitive data.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their IT literacy and promote best practices in cybersecurity.
- Hardware and Software Procurement: Collaborate with relevant departments to identify and procure the latest and most suitable IT hardware and software for academic and administrative needs.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve IT-related problems, utilizing a proactive approach to prevent future issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic and administrative teams to integrate technology into various university processes and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
