As a PM/SM, you will be required to manage an array of projects company-wide using the most suitable lifecycle (Traditional, Agile & Hybrid) as the need arises. Majority of your stakeholders would be individuals working within cross-functional teams & levels across the organisation: Management team, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, IT support team.
You will communicate, coordinate and collaborate with your stakeholders to plan & define (project scope, objectives, activities, plan), manage project constraints (scope, time, cost, resources, risks, quality), gather data, monitor and generate timely insights through the documentation of your project artifacts.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project owners to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and resources.
Understand the business context, opportunities, challenges as well as market trends before approving and managing projects.
Conduct a thorough review of the project objectives to ensure alignment with the company’s goals, objectives, and value proposition.
Adhere to Project Management standards by maintaining project artefacts: project charter, plan, schedule, budget, and risk register.
Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, (sponsors, project owners, senior managers and leaders by participating in the strategic planning and decision making process of the company.
Assess and anticipate changes, by planning and executing change management strategies and actions.
Generate weekly insights by monitoring and reporting on project progress, performance, and issues resolved.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders by managing their expectations and interests.
Mentor and support other project managers by speedily contributing to the improvement of the project management processes and practices within the organisation.
Speedily resolve impediments by identifying and analyzing root causes, risks, and impacts of blockers by way of generating and evaluating alternative options.
Ensure alignment with project constraints (scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk and resource) and organisational goals & objectives. You will be required to manage & coordinate cross-functional teams, generate insights though the accurate documentation & reporting.
Guide and motivate the project team, as well as develop their skills and capabilities.
This involves assigning and delegating tasks, providing feedback and coaching, resolving conflicts and problems, and fostering collaboration and innovation.
Job Requirements
In-depth understanding of Project Management Standards, Principles & Best practices (particular emphasis of the PMBOK 6th & 7th edition is a must)
Strong leadership skills with an evidential record of positively inspiring, influencing & impacting teams and managing people.
Life-long learner exemplified by an Agile Mindset (Flexible & Adaptable)
Exposure to and vast experience managing ERP projects within the tech-space across various project environments (Predictive, Adaptive & Hybrid) and life cycles (Traditional, Agile & Hybrid)
Intermediate exposure to Supply Chain Management (highly desirable)
Minimum of 5 years senior-level experience strategically overseeing People & Processes of the projects being managed.
Proven stakeholder management capabilities across all organisational levels.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in project planning, budgeting, and cost control.
Ability to work and thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment
Qualification
Most preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Science or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred)
Certification & Trainings in project management, supporting methodologies, frameworks & practices (*Project Management Certification is a must, PSM/CSM, Six Sigma, SAFE, Agile Certifications).
Proven experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle.
