Job Summary
- As a Sales & Logistics Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the sales and logistics operations for our business.
- Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating sales activities, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring efficient logistics operations.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales and production teams to facilitate smooth processes and maintain accurate records.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Coordination:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer demands, forecasts, and order requirements.
- Monitor sales orders and ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Work with the sales team to meet customer expectations and drive sales targets.
Inventory Management:
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and maximize inventory Efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all products in the inventory, including stock levels, reorder points, and expiration dates.
- Regularly conduct stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Logistics Management:
- Plan and oversee the logistics process, including product transportation, distribution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Monitor and optimize shipping and delivery routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Documentation:
- Maintain proper documentation for all sales, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the automotive industry.
- Generate reports and analyze data to make informed decisions.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that products are handled, stored, and transported in a manner that maintains their quality and integrity.
- Implement quality control measures to prevent damages and losses during transportation and storage.
Team Management:
- Supervise a team of sales and logistics staff, providing leadership, guidance, and training.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and efficiency.
Requirements
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales coordination, inventory management, and logistics, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the automotive sector.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
- Proficiency in using ERP management systems. Experience with SAGE preferable.
- Completion of NYSC (discharge or exemption certificate) is required.
- The applicant must reside in Ogun / Lagos State.
