International Medical Corps, an international humanitarian, non-profit and non-governmental organization is seeking for partnership with local civil society organizations registered in Nigeria and responding to the refugee crisis in North-west Nigeria, in the field of Digital solutions, Health, Protection, WASH, Nutrition, and Education. Now, we are seeking to expand our reach and effectiveness by partnering with other organizations that share our vision and commitment to making a difference in the following areas:
- Digital solution: Partnership in this area seeks to collaborate with innovative solution partners who provide real time data driven solutions that will guide programming in emergencies. These digital solution providers will provide innovative solution using a multi sectoral approach
- Health: Partnerships in this area will involve collaborating on projects related to providing primary health services, reproductive health, nutrition, and community health promotion activities in response to the refugee crisis in North-west Nigeria. It will also involve reaching out to refugee communities and disseminating vital information on health, personal well-being, and available services to improve their living conditions
- Protection: Partnerships in this area would involve protection mainstreaming, child protection, prevention and response to gender-based violence, and legal counseling for those affected by the refugee crisis in targeted geographical areas in north west part of Nigeria. It will also involve reaching out to refugee communities and disseminating vital information on personal well-being, and available services to improve their living conditions
- WASH: Partnerships in this area will focus on collaborating on projects related to hygiene promotion, sanitation and provision of safe drinking water. It will also focus on rehabilitating and construction of WASH infrastructure in schools, communities and health facilities. This will also involve integrating SBCC and disseminating vital information on personal well-being, and available services to improve their living conditions
- Nutrition: Partnership in this concept will involve integrating the components of nutrition which are CMAM OTP, SC, SFP and Community mobilization and MIYCN.
- Education: Partnership in this area seeks to collaborate with education partners on education projects related to education programming in emergencies, setting up nomadic schools, setting up schools in IDPs, rehabilitation and provision of education facilities and integrating Almajiri schools for better community involvement
This open call invites interested organizations operating in North- west Nigeria to express their interest in partnering with us. To be eligible for consideration, organization should satisfy the following criteria:
- Be a registered local civil society organization in Nigeria with a legal entity and presence in North- west Nigeria
- Demonstrate relevant expertise and experience in the area of your interest.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the local context, challenges, and needs of the target beneficiaries or communities.
- Showcase sound financial management practices and demonstrate the ability to manage complex grants and contracts effectively.
- Have a track record of successful partnership with other organizations or stakeholders.
- Show commitment to ethical and transparent practices in all aspects of their operations.

Method of Application:
Interested organizations are requested to send an email to eoi.nigeria@internationalmedicalcorps.org and submit a brief Expression of Interest (EOI) outlining their background, key areas of expertise, and how they envision the partnership contributing to the advancement of our shared objectives. The subject of your email should indicate the area of your interest. For example, “EoI Health” or “EoI Digital Solutions”. All the Expression of Interest should be sent to International Medical Corps by September 28, 2023.
Upon review of the EoIs, shortlisted organizations will be invited to participate in further discussions to explore partnership possibilities in more detail.
We encourage all eligible organizations operating in North- west Nigeria to participate in the open call and help us create a collective impact that goes beyond the sum of our individual efforts.
