Responsibilities:
As a welder / fabricator, you will be responsible for:
- Cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques and equipment
- Reading and following blueprints, sketches, and specifications
- Inspecting and testing welds for quality and safety standards
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment and tools
- Following safety procedures and wearing protective gear
- Communicating and collaborating with other team members and clients
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A welding certificate or relevant training
- At least 2-3 years of welding/fabrication experience
- Knowledge of different metals and their properties
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical strength and stamina
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
