We serve various markets within our Sub-Saharan Africa segment including; Nigeria, Angola, Gabon, Congo, Ghana, Chad and East Africa. Our growth in this segment is driven by a number of activities, including deepwater development activity in offshore Angola and Nigeria, and demand for our large bore subsea completion landing strings. In addition, we offer wellbore clean-up services, onshore early production systems, integrated exploration and appraisal packages and intervention services. We are currently experiencing high levels of customer demand, mainly from IOCs and NOCs, for our exploration and appraisal-related services in Sub-Saharan Africa. We believe our track record of successful performance has enabled us to develop strong relationships with key customers, which understand the challenges of operating in certain locations within this segment as a result of logistical, security, resource and personnel constraints.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To supervise a team of technical professionals to coordinate and support various project activities.
Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within financial boundaries.
Facilitate the free flow of information between departments within the Company and external parties to achieve departmental efficiency, cost reduction and the provision of expert technical assistance.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

Coordinate the activities of a project team to complete projects in a safe manner on schedule with budget constraint complying to policies and procedures.
Plan, organize, coordinate and control projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems and requirements approved by the company.
Provide project updates to Senior Management as required.
Oversee execution of operations and project support activities.
Resolve disputes and problems related to project planning and delivery.
Develop cost effective solutions, evaluate alternatives and collaborate with client to confirm requirements and ensure acceptance.
Directly or indirectly supervise project personnel.
Provide input during project acquisition and participate in contract negotiations.
Liaise with the team members, internal / external parties as and when required to ensure discussion takes place achieving effective communication to achieve task completion as per plan and budget
