We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manufacturing System Manager

Location: Ilesa, Osun

Job Type: Full Time

Key Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to ensure resource availability to execute projects in brewery, provides C&A operational support at brewery level to ensure maximized productivity, efficiency and availability. and ensure integrity of the control layer including MES integration.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Continuity and Risk Accountable for system BCP and DRP plans for the brewery.
  • In partnership with Solutions, develops and implements approaches to hardware and software obsolescence.
  • Accountable for manufacturing system security.
  • Contribute to the sharing of best practice between breweries
  • Ensure adherence to antivirus and support patch requirements.
  • Vendor Management with support from ZBS/Solutions to enhance the effectiveness of C&A vendors.
  • Validation of system integrator effectiveness and quality. Necessary service level agreements to be in place with vendors.
  • Partnering provide single point of contact between brewery and Solutions.
  • People Management facilitate team problemsolving and decisionmaking
  • Lead the- manufacturing systems team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment and teaminteraction
  • Lead the development of systems’ teamgoalsand ensure these are communicated and understood by teammembers
  • Comply with and administer Zone people cycle
  • Ensure training need analyses are conducted and trainingplans developed for team members
  • Ensure appropriate competencies are developed in the team, and ensure cross skilling occurs within the systems team.

Provide process control engineering expertise to the line teams:

  • Ensure safe plant operations
  • Ensure effective process control
  • Optimize and improve plant processes.

Implementation and execution of the Control and Automation block of the maintenance pillar:

  • Well Managed C&C function.

Management of the Control and Automation function:

  • Well managed and properly maintained C&A environment
  • Systems available at all times to support production requirements
  • Ability to adapt to new production requirements
  • Visibility and reporting of plant processes.

Alignment to the Tech Supply strategy and Global Technical Standards (GTS) for automation:

  • Alignment to global supply systems
  • Ensure standardization is adhered to in order to leverage skills and scale.

Facilitate problem solving and decision making:

  • Ensure proper root causes established to eliminate problems
  • Identify potential C&A solutions to resolve business problems.

Manage small site projects:

  • Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Maintain a healthy and safe working environment:

  • Manage ZBB Automation and CAPEX budgeting process
  • Control departmental costs.

Profile

  • Diploma in Engineer Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics
  • Proactive with high energy levels
  • Ability to anticipate situations and take charge
  • Curiosity and desire to learn
  • Ability to optimise to improve or automate routine tasks
  • Takes accountability for performance improvements within production
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Control and Automation
  • Networks and servers
  • Microsoft server software
  • Manufacturing Execution systems (MES).
  • PLC systems
  • Manufacturing processes
  • S88 batch control standard
  • Field instrumentation and networks
  • SCADA systems.
