Account Partner – EB Sales. Enterprise Business NG


Reports To: Manager EBU Sales

Division: Enterprise Business


As an Account Partner in the Enterprise Business division, your primary responsibility is to increase MTN’s market share by achieving set targets through acquiring new accounts and maintaining current accounts. You will be accountable for the entire sales process, from lead generation to bill delivery, ensuring seamless customer satisfaction and revenue growth.


  1. Seek new clients and create business opportunities daily, both from existing clients and potential customers, to drive company revenue.
  2. Conduct research on potential customers, including their disposable income, using the data mining system.
  3. Continuously analyze the relevant industry to identify new prospects and opportunities for the corporate sales department.
  4. Prepare and present all corporate sales reports (weekly and monthly) and contractual documentation in accordance with MTN quality standards.
  5. Log all customer requests for service, queries, and complaints, ensuring timely escalation and troubleshooting when necessary.
  6. Develop an in-depth understanding of customers’ operating environment, business drivers, ambitions, issues, problems, and obstacles to implement solutions that meet their strategic corporate needs.
  7. Maintain strong partnership-relationships with customers, built on trust and an understanding of their business.
  8. Assist customers in understanding the value proposition and differentiations of MTN data products and services.
  9. Liaise with supervisors on discount issues.
  10. Continuously seek self-professional development to enhance skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
  11. Foster active collaboration and relationships with employees across all levels and divisions in line with MTN’s values and vision.


  • First degree in any related discipline.
  • Fluent in English.


  • 3 – 7 years of experience in an area of specialization, including experience working with others.
  • Experience in a medium-sized organization.
