[Vacancy] Business Technology Analyst at Sahara Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to strike a balance between business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Develop business solutions by analyzing datasets, ranging from simple to complex.
• Drive innovation within the department by championing activities that generate creative ideas.
• Communicate effectively and persuasively in a business context.
• Support team goals and perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Innovation Manager.
• Recommend changes in business processes as alternatives to complex solutions whenever possible.
• Utilize groundbreaking technology ideas to address current and future business challenges.
• Document business cases to evaluate new ideas and concepts, including current and future process flows.
• Create data flow diagrams and flowcharts to effectively communicate ideas to application developers.
• Evaluate solutions proposed by application developers to ensure alignment with requirements.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a business context.
• Proficiency in numeracy and project management.
• Intermediate to advanced modeling skills.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for idea presentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in Computing, Engineering, or Management Sciences.
• 2-5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role post-NYSC (National Youth Service Corps).
• Experience in soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements.
• Familiarity with data querying and data mapping work.
• Experience in documenting user stories/requirements and creating process flow diagrams for future improvements.
