Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, and training to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Provide leadership in developing strategies for strategic workforce plans, performance management, talent development, remuneration, and industrial relations.
  • Act as a champion in driving cutting-edge interventions to drive productivity and profitability of the business.
  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including a review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Provide the strategic framework to assist staff in understanding company policies and labor legislation.

  • Develop and implement departmental budget and staff appraisals
  • Take the lead in designing a framework for employee relations that ensures industrial harmony across the group
  • Ensure the company’s training and development interventions are anchored on developing organizational structures aligned with the company’s strategy
  • Facilitate professional development, training, certification, and appraisal activities for HR staff.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs, including leave, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management productivity, reward systems, occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in human capital management;
  • Proven work experience as Head of Human Capital.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR Issues and procedures
  • Professional certification like PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification is preferred
