The Head of Content Marketing plays a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives and enhance its leading brand presence in the competitive music industry. You will lead the content marketing team toward building new and maintaining existing audiences in key territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Marketing Strategy: Develop and determine the long-term content vision and strategy for the content management practice, with a focus on efficiently scaling quality delivery and maximizing business impact. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging content formats, and innovations in content marketing. Incorporating new and creative approaches into the overall content strategy.
  • Budget Management and Allocation: Develop a content marketing budget in collaboration with the finance department and other relevant stakeholders. Provide quarterly reports to leadership on budget performance and areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the content marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Deliver updates to the board, ensuring alignment between content marketing strategies and overall business objectives.
  • Content Marketing: Conduct comprehensive research, understanding the target audience and creating buyer personas for effective content targeting. Supervise the creation of diverse and engaging content across various channels, including blogs, social media, podcasts, and more while ensuring high quality.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Generate regular reports for executive leadership and other stakeholders, highlighting key findings, performance metrics, opportunities, and areas for strategic focus.


  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in content marketing for any facet of the entertainment industry with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Track record of incorporating innovative approaches into content marketing strategies within the entertainment industry. Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging content formats.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate will collaborate on presenting campaigns and contextualizing results for the Board.
  • Knowledge of various music applications and excellent knowledge of the Internet platforms.
  • Diverse experience across content marketing channels.
  • Strong project management, organization, and adaptability skills.
  • Experience in the music industry is imperative.
