- Conduct prospect research and identify potential leads
- Qualify leads and build rapport through various channels (phone, email, etc)
- Assist with developing and maintaining accurate customer records in CRM systems
- Participate in sales calls and meetings (shadowing and potentially taking on a co-pilot role)
- Research competitor offerings and market trends
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Conduct research on potential clients and industries to identify business opportunities and generate Leads
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations with potential clients
- Support the sales team in managing and maintaining customer relationships
- Work with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sales, such as scheduling meetings and preparing sales materials
- Learn about the sales process and techniques used in the tech industry
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Comfortable with technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and software
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques and principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Knowledge of the Tech ecosystem in Africa.
