Job Summary

Our Social Media Manager will be in charge of all our social media pages across all platforms. Expanding our digital presence, developing new strategies, and monitoring our online success through KPIs. Our Ideal Candidate has experience running and managing successful social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Forge a Strong knowledge of Perfume Industry news and social media trends
  • Strategize and implement Social Media Campaigns to boost sales and brand engagement
  • Develop a consistent brand across all social media platforms
  • Craft a Content Calendar
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
  • Design original posts, tweets, and pins according to the content calendar
  • Host monthly community engagement events through social pages
  • Answer Customer questions on social pages daily
  • Monitor KPI Progress using Google Analytics
  • Communicate Metrics progress to stakeholders
  • Identify potential pitfalls in social strategy or content and adjust future plans accordingly
  • Build relationships with followers through consistent communication via comments, retweets, likes and more
  • Promoting products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy
  • Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Buffer
  • Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
  • Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
  • Meeting with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers). These meetings may involve pitching potential marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated success managing social media platforms or relevant content marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or any related field
  • Track record of crafting engaging content that aligns with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people.
  • Experienced with Google Analytics and Buffer
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Must be Creative with an eye for detail
  • Must be a Strong storyteller
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs and Metrics
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven skills in learning social media trends, identifying new social media tools and finding real-time online conversations
  • Organizational, problem solving and Analytical skills
  • An ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once and meet deadlines
