About the role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media Manager to develop and implement social media Strategies, create engaging content, and manage our social media account. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social madia platforms, excellent communication skills, and a track record of driving results through social media marketing initiatives.
General duties:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and implement best practices for maximum effectiveness.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media calendars aligned with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, content, and product development, to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies and recommend strategies for implementation.
- Explore and implement new social media features and formats to enhance engagement and reach.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
- Proficiency in social media management tools.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for each platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be currently residing in Abuja, Nigeria
