Job Summary

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. A sales representative is responsible for selling products or services to customers. They act as the main point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring that customer needs are met and revenue targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and prospecting potential customers by researching industry trends and market competition.
  • Generating leads through cold-calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending products or services that best meet their requirements.
  • Presenting and demonstrating products or services to customers, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals, following up on leads and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure smooth customer experience.
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Keeping records of sales activities, and customer interactions, and maintaining an accurate database of customers and prospects.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Providing feedback to the management team on customer needs, market trends, and activities of competitors.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Represent the company in exhibitions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management in the area of sales

Requirements

  • Good communication skills.
  • Minimum qualification OND in any relevant field.
  • Resident in Lagos
  • Able to work with a team
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Ability to close sales.
