We seek a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and take on the responsibility of building and managing an admissions client and sub-agent portal. As a WordPress Developer, you will be crucial in developing, customizing, and maintaining our WordPress-based admissions portal, ensuring its smooth functioning.


  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the specific requirements of the admissions portal.
  • Collaborate with the design and admissions teams to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
  • Integrate third-party systems and APIs as necessary to enhance the functionality of the admissions portal.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive admissions data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with our portal and provide timely resolution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WordPress development and PHP programming.
  • Manage content updates, site backups, and other routine maintenance tasks for the admissions portal.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on using the admissions portal effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with overall organizational goals.


  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with in-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming, including experience with MySQL or other database management systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Prior experience building and managing web applications, particularly in the education or admissions domain, is a plus.
  • Understanding web accessibility standards and SEO principles is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
