Job Summary
We seek a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and take on the responsibility of building and managing an admissions client and sub-agent portal. As a WordPress Developer, you will be crucial in developing, customizing, and maintaining our WordPress-based admissions portal, ensuring its smooth functioning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the specific requirements of the admissions portal.
- Collaborate with the design and admissions teams to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs as necessary to enhance the functionality of the admissions portal.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive admissions data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with our portal and provide timely resolution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WordPress development and PHP programming.
- Manage content updates, site backups, and other routine maintenance tasks for the admissions portal.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on using the admissions portal effectively.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with in-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Strong proficiency in PHP programming, including experience with MySQL or other database management systems.

- Prior experience building and managing web applications, particularly in the education or admissions domain, is a plus.
- Understanding web accessibility standards and SEO principles is desirable.
