About Job

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Auditor to join our team. The Procurement Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews and assessments of the company’s procurement processes, policies, and practices to ensure compliance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust procurement audit program to systematically review all aspects of the procurement function, including sourcing, contract management, vendor management, and payment processes
  • Analyze procurement data, including spend analysis, contract terms, and vendor performance, to identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and risk mitigation
  • Conduct on-site audits and interviews with procurement teams, end-users, and vendors to gather information, evaluate processes, and assess compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Document audit findings, recommendations, and action plans in detailed reports, highlighting areas of concern and proposed solutions
  • Work closely with the procurement, finance, and legal teams to address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress
  • Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on best practices, industry regulations, and the company’s procurement policies and procedures
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in procurement and auditing to continuously improve the company’s procurement processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of procurement audit activities, findings, and follow-up actions to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement auditing, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, vendor evaluation, and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address gaps or inconsistencies in procurement processes
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and professional standards
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
