Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team.
  • As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medication for our patients.
  • You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication-related information to healthcare professionals and patients, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and professional standards.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, and provide consultation to patients regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, and possible interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, including physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with the Hospital’s policy.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of medications and supplies.
  • Perform medication therapy management services, including medication reviews, adherence counseling, and medication therapy optimization.
  • Provide immunization services and other pharmacy-based clinical services as required by state regulations and company policies.
  • Stay current with developments in pharmaceutical research, drug therapies, and pharmacy practice guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice, including safety and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited University.
  • Pharmacist License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a pharmacist. Preferably in a hospital, or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and pharmaceutical calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records software.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
