We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Officer.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, ensuring a positive experience for our patients, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Register patients by verifying and entering demographic information.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department.
Provide information to patients regarding services, appointment details, and general inquiries.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
Familiarity with medical terminology is an added advantage.
