Mechanic On The Go, an emerging automotive repair company based in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and analytical NYSC Corper to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in monitoring the company’s financial health, identifying areas for improvement, and providing strategic recommendations to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Financial Monitoring:
- Track and analyze the inflow and outflow of funds to ensure the company is operating within budgetary constraints and making profits.
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and advise the Operations Manager and CEO on potential pitfalls and opportunities for mitigation.
- Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate changes that may impact the company’s financial performance.
Financial Advisory:
- Provide guidance and advice to administrative staff on sound financial practices and strategies to maximize profits and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue-generating activities.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial dashboards and reports at the end of each month to present to the management team.
- Analyze key financial metrics and trends to evaluate the company’s financial health and progress towards goals.
Qualifications:
Financial Acumen:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques.
- Ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights to drive decision-making.
Analytical Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data.
Communication Skills:
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Tech-Savvy:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
