Job Summary
We are seeking for an experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, and optimal performance of our organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software components. The preferred candidate would collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain IT.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs, to protect the organization’s data and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network engineering and cybersecurity to ensure the organization’s network infrastructure is secure and up-to-date.
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and security policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on cybersecurity and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
- Good understanding of infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, MPLS, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, etc.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g AWS, Azure, GCP, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
