Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Responsible for the efficient generation and maintenance of utilities and plants (Generators, Boilers, Compressors)
- Ensure optimum stock of engineering spares and drive world-class inventory procedures and operations
- Maintain Mixers, band product conveyors, Pumps, and all production machines
- Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Service and maintain the different types of gearboxes
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production
- Ensures full implementation of applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental Procedures in accordance with international safety & quality standards
- Ensure repairs and maintenance on site are delivered OTIF (On Time in Full) within scope, cost, and schedule
Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND/OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Similar experience with a production company
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills with good reasoning ability.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of packaging machines, compressors, generators, fryers, roasters, etc.
- Excellent leadership and training skills and ability to work on your own and also work well with others.
- Thorough and attentive to detail.
- Good time management skills and physical coordination and dexterity
