- Reporting to the Group Company Secretary /Legal adviser
- Managing Company Secretariat desk
- Managing all legal agreements of the company and its subsidiaries.
- Providing legal advice where necessary.
- Maintaining adequate records for all existing legal agreements with the company
- Responsible for standards and quality in accordance with the company’s rules and regulations.
- Developing implementing and evaluates communications strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the company’s relationship with Directors, Shareholders, government enforcement agencies (Police, EFCC, etc.) and other external groups.
- Ensuring the company’s statutory obligations are complied with.
- Maintaining the register and records of the board of directors, shareholders, and others.
- Preparation and submission of annual returns.
- Filing of documents at the Company Office including changes of registered office, changes of directors and/or secretary and their particulars.
- Ensuring assessments of the Contracts SLA’s and mitigation of risk
- To ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the operating licenses.
- To ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the regulatory bodies
- Document Management.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- Additional qualification is an added advantage: ACIS, LL.M
- Experience: 5-10 years post-call.
