Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR Supervisor to manage full-cycle recruitment, and execute talent acquisition strategies, including job posting, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and industry best practices
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits for employees
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Assist in effective employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address workforce planning and talent development needs
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures, fostering a positive work culture
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal requirements
  • Align HR strategies with the overall business goals and objectives of the company.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization’s strategic priorities and translate them into HR initiatives.
  • Implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure workforce planning aligns with business requirements.

  • Implement policies and programs that promote fair treatment, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Guide managers on addressing performance issues and recognizing high-performing employees.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with training departments to develop and implement relevant programs.
  • Support career development initiatives, succession planning, and talent management.
  • Work with compensation teams to ensure competitive and fair compensation structures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and industry regulations.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, helping employees and managers navigate transitions effectively.
  • Communicate changes, ensuring transparency and managing resistance.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and inform decision-making.
  • Generate regular reports on key HR metrics for management review.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to gauge organizational climate.
  • Identify and assess HR-related risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment.
  • Uphold ethical standards in all HR practices and promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization.

  • Maintain a functional fleet, overseeing vehicle pool, monitoring logs, and ensuring timely renewals.
  • Liaise with senior management to manage corporate insurance programs, identify and manage risks, and liaise with insurers for timely claims settlement.
  • Collaborate with managers to determine security needs, supervise security personnel, and coordinate emergency responses.
  • Communicate HR policies, programs, and initiatives clearly to all levels of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in HR practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations to ensure company policies comply.
  • Effective communication to convey HR policies, and initiatives, and address employee concerns with clarity and empathy.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with department heads, managers, and employees to achieve common goals.
  • Proficiency in using HR data to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Capability to analyse complex HR issues and provide practical, effective solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Upholding ethical standards and ensuring HR practices align with the company’s values and legal requirement


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, PHR,SPHR is a plus.
  • Having a Master’s Degree is an added advantage. 3 – 7 years’ experience as a Senior HR Officer or similar role
  • 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on business partnering.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR software and tools
  • Profound knowledge of HR principles, strategies, trends, and practices.
  • CIPM, PHR, SPHR, etc will be an added advantage.
