We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Design to lead our architecture design team.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of conceptualizing and executing outstanding architectural projects, as well as the ability to inspire and mentor a team of designers. This role requires a creative thinker with strong leadership skills
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Develop innovative design concepts and solutions that address client needs and align with project constraints and budget.
- Oversee the creation of architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design intent effectively.
- Provided guidance and mentorship to design team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Conduct design reviews and critiques to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Uphold the company’s reputation for excellence in design and service, representing our brand with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, with a proven portfolio of completed projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a design team.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, 3DSMAX.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Creative thinker with a passion for pushing the boundaries of design innovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Professional licensure (RA) is preferred but not required.
