Job Summary
As a Civil Engineer at Dortmund and Company Limited, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of various construction projects, ranging from road rehabilitation to the construction of water retaining structures. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and address any technical challenges or issues that may arise during project implementation.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of managing construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., COREN) is highly desirable.
