Job Summary

  • As our safety coordinator, you will be responsible for playing a vital role in promoting a safety-first culture on our construction sites. This position requires collaboration with project managers and site personnel to implement effective safety measures, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs that align with industry standards and company policies.
  • Design and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors, focusing on hazard recognition, accident prevention, and emergency response.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, equipment, and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, and HR teams to foster a unified approach to workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable University
  • minimum of 3 years experience in safety management, ideally within the construction industry.
  • National Industrial Safety and Health with NISP Level 3 certification and NEBOSH certification is required.
