This is a management position responsible for managing the financial aspects of the organisation, ensuring effective cash flow management, and contributing to the overall financial health and stability of the Company.
The Treasurer will report directly to the CFO and work closely with other key stakeholders within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide reporting on daily cash position, cash flow forecasting, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs.
Overseeing accounts receivable & accounts payable process
Assess and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, and currency exchange.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the financial interests of the company.
Develop and execute investment strategies to maximise returns while maintaining an appropriate level of risk.
Evaluate financing options and maintain relationships with lenders
Participate in project reviews and provide financial insights to support critical decision-making. Analyse project profitability, assess funding needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Partner closely with Engineering leadership, project managers, and other finance team members to provide financial guidance and support operational activities.
Candidates Requirements:
8+ years of experience in treasury in an engineering or manufacturing company preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
Proven experience in a similar treasury role within the Engineering and/or oil and gas industry.
Proficient in financial modelling and treasury management systems.
Minimum ICAN
Any other professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA would be welcome
