Job Summary
- The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and ensuring that the sales team performs effectively and meets or exceeds sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and increase market share.
- Identify potential business opportunities and partnerships to drive sales growth.
- Identify new sales opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Handle high-level negotiations and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Prepare and present sales,Reports,Presentations, Forecasts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance.
- Set sales targets for team members, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans for the team.
- Use sales data and CRM systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights on market dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with potential clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience (6+ years) in a sales leadership role, preferably in Energy, Oil and Gas, mining and Real Estate Industry.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Energy, Oil and Gas, mining and Real Estate Industry.
- Knowledge of the latest sales techniques and market trends.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Salary
- N200,000 Monthly.
