Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales department and drive revenue growth.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
  • This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture, driving motivation and accountability.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of deals.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s market presence.
  • Lead negotiations with potential clients, closing deals that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and brand awareness initiatives.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the sales forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Implement CRM tools and processes to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Provide insights to the product development team to align offerings with market demand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must have 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and business development.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
