Everyday Smag is seeking a talented and creative Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess a strong work ethic, and have a keen eye for detail. As a chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious dishes that exceed our guests’ expectations and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal menus that showcase fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or similar establishment
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating innovative dishes
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
