Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and non-financial data and present it in a report format beneficial to the management.
- Generate financial analysis reports from time to time.
- Interpret financial and economic information and present it to management.
- Carry out regular analysis of competitors and industry trends.
- Analyze suppliers and other stakeholders businesses that influence the company’s performance.
- Conduct production performance analysis with support from the Production Accounting Analyst.
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate controls over financial administration, expenditures, and asset management across departments.
Key Competencies:
- Minimum of 2nd Class lower/HND in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Must have relevant professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA).
- At least five years of relevant accounting/management/manufacturing and financial experience are required.
- Good knowledge of accounting packages is required.
- Good knowledge of quantitative analysis tools.
- Good knowledge of record keeping and document management is also required.
