Responsibilities

Create database systems and applications.
Develop complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models for assessing the business areas or industries the organization is focused on.
Use data findings to analyze and predict trends in the customer base and amongst the organization’s targeted consumer population as a whole.
Ensure regular and consistent database updates and management processes are in place to maximize information gathering and utilization.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders for research topics, refine research questions, and design analytical protocols.
Develop systems and tools for effective data management, visualization, and interpretation (systems design, dashboards, information graphics, mapping, Tableau).
Work closely with executive management and other internal stakeholders by providing technical assistance, and building understanding about data usage.
Manipulate and link different data sets using data mining, providing the business with accurate, relevant, and timely data, identifying correlations and patterns, research, and performance information that contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making for the organization.

BSc.in a relevant discipline such as mathematics, statistics, computer science/ engineering or other related field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of four (4) years of proven experience in a data analyst position. Experience working with major datasets in health care would be an added advantage.
Statistical/ data analysis certifications will be an added advantage
In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.

Strong IT and mathematical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders.
Ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent research and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as STATA, and SPSS.
High Proficiency in Excel, with mastery using pivot and Lookup Tables, familiarity with VBA.
High Proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, etc.
At least basic knowledge of programming languages will be an added advantage
