Job Summary
The role is responsible for overseeing a number of projects within the company and working closely with the business team and other stakeholders to achieve productivity goals, increase revenue, and contribute to the company’s overall success. The role also uses data and analytical skills to design, test, and improve software applications and systems.
Responsibilities
- Review project documents, files, timelines, and change requests to ensure they are in conformity with the Company’s policies and standards.
- Work with the business and technical team on new projects to properly manage the availability of resources for projects and post-support services.
- Ensure quality of projects, and timelines and highlight areas that need improvements in the future.
- Consistently delivering projects to agreed success criteria, managing change effectively.
- Share commercials and monitor projects to ensure adherence to all methods and standards agreed on.
- To draft briefings, and project proposals as requested by the company.
- Coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions.
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile the needs of different teams.
- Confirm program operation by conducting tests; and modifying program sequence and/or codes.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user’s needs.
- Oversee teams working on client engagements, and manage internal resources.
- Possess an understanding of company offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
- Work with customers to maintain existing software as needed throughout their lifetime.
- Be the interface between end-users and software consultants.
- Resolve complex issues relating to business requirements and objectives.
- Coordinate and support software professionals in installing and analyzing applications and tools.
- Designs, develops, implements, tests, documents, and maintains scientific and engineering software applications.
- Analyzes and writes software functionality requirements, designs specifications, manuals, and user’s guides.
- Analyzes project specifications and creates project sub-tasks and implementation schedules.
- Reviews modifies, and rewrites existing software to optimize it or adapt it to fit new requirements.
- Researches, evaluates, and implements third-party products and vendor applications.
- Enforces and maintains technical standards, performs design and code reviews for the development team through implementation of best practices and technical standards
Requirements
- BSC/BA degree in Computer Science or related course.
- Must be capable of working in a highly motivated, swift, and performance-driven environment.
- Possess at least 5 years experience of managing products and services experience
- Proven track record of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions.
- Experience working with formal project methodologies (e.g. APM PRINCE 2, PMI/BOK) and associated.
- Thorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective action.
- Be proactive with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable and confident to work with project team members both internally and externally.
