About Us
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team. As an Academic Counselor, you will provide exceptional support to non-traditional adult learners, guiding them through their academic journey.
Responsibilities
• Provide academic support to students via phone, email, and internal chats
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, administrative tasks, and student interactions
• Coach students on academic and personal challenges impacting their success
• Navigate multiple resources to provide real-time support
• Meet department performance expectations and accept ongoing feedback
Requirements
• Male candidate
• At least 2 years relevant experience in academic counseling or related field
• 2 verifiable references
• Fluency in English (assessments will be conducted)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills
• Comfortable working with diverse student population
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer applications
Work Arrangement:
• Fully remote position
• Candidate must reside in Lagos, Nigeria
